pharmacological action:
Ceftazidime has good antibacterial activity to e. coli, klebsiella pneumoniae and other enterobacteriaceae bacteria, influenza bacillus and pseudomonas aeruginosa, etc. The product also has good antibacterial effect to nitrate negative bacillus and alkali-producing bacillus. This product is highly stable to most of the beta-lactamase produced by bacteria, so it can still have antibacterial activity to the multidrug-resistant strains of the gram-negative bacillus mentioned above. Gram-positive cocci such as pneumococci and hemolytic streptococcus are highly sensitive to ceftadime, but this product has only moderate activity to staphylococci, while enterococci and methicillin-resistant staphylococci are often resistant to this product. This product has certain antibacterial to anaerobic bacteria such as digestive coccus and streptococcus

usage and dosage:
Adult: urinary tract or mild infection: 1~2 grams per day, divided into 2 times of intravenous drip or intravenous injection; Most infections: 2 to 4 grams per day in 2 to 3 intravenous drops or infusions; Very severe infections: 4 to 6 grams per day in 2 to 3 intravenous drops or infusions. Course of treatment :7~14 days. Infants (more than 2 months after birth): the commonly used dose is 30~100mg/kg per day, divided into 2~3 intravenous drip.
