Ketoprofen for Injection
Ketoprofen is an aromatic propionic acid derivative, which belongs to non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Its indications are basically the same as ibuprofen, but its effect is stronger than ibuprofen, and there are more adverse reactions. In addition to inhibiting cyclooxygenase, ketoprofen can also inhibit lipoxygenase and reduce bradykinin, so as to reduce the pain of inflammatory injury site. Ketoprofen for dysmenorrhea, mainly through the inhibition of bradykinin to achieve inhibition of uterine contraction and analgesic effect. Ketoprofen also has central analgesic effect. Its antipyretic effect is 4 times stronger than indomethacin, 100 times stronger than aspirin, and its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect is stronger than ibuprofen. And the adverse reaction is less, the toxicity is low. Its anti-inflammatory effect is greater than analgesic or antipyretic effect, especially for inflammatory rheumatism.
