Mezlocillin Sodium for Injection

  Mezlocillin sodium for injection is used for respiratory, urinary, digestive, gynecological and reproductive infections caused by sensitive strains of gram-negative bacilli, such as Escherichia coli, enterobacter, proteus, etc., such as sepsis, purulent meningitis, peritonitis, myeloitis, skin and soft tissue infections, and eye, ear, nose and throat infections.
  This product is a semi synthetic penicillin antibiotic. It has antibacterial effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, pneumonia bacillus, proteus bacillus, enterobacter, Citrobacter, Serratia, Acinetobacter and gram-positive cocci sensitive to penicillin. The antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, enterobacter, pneumoniae, Citrobacter, Serratia and Acinetobacter was stronger than that of carbamazillin and ampicillin; the antibacterial activity against indole positive Proteus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa was stronger than that of carbamazillin and sulbenicillin; the antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus was similar to that of carbamazillin, but to fecal chain The antibacterial activity of cocci was better than that of carbamazillin and sulbenicillin.
