Product Description

This product can be used for the following infections caused by bacteria sensitive to cefuroxime:
1. Respiratory tract infections: Respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including ampicillin resistant bacteria), Klebsiella genus, Staphylococcus aureus (penicillin enzyme producing and non penicillin enzyme producing bacteria), Streptococcus pyogenes, and Escherichia coli, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis co infection, bacterial pneumonia, lung abscess, and postoperative lung infections.
2. Otolaryngology infections: otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis.
3. Urinary tract infection: Urethral infection caused by Escherichia coli and Klebsiella bacteria, such as acute and chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis, and asymptomatic bacteriuria.
4. Skin and soft tissue infections: Skin and soft tissue infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus (penicillinase producing and non penicillinase producing bacteria), Streptococcus pyogenes, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella and Enterobacteriaceae bacteria, such as cellulitis, erysipelas, peritonitis, and trauma infections.
5. Septicemia: Septicemia caused by Staphylococcus aureus (penicillin producing and non penicillin producing bacteria), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae (including ampicillin resistant bacteria), and Klebsiella bacteria.
6. Meningitis: Meningitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (containing ampicillin resistant bacteria), Neisseria meningitidis, and Staphylococcus aureus (penicillinase producing and non penicillinase producing bacteria).
7. Gonorrhea: Simple (non comorbidities) and comorbidities caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae (penicillinase producing and non penicillinase producing bacteria), especially suitable for those who are not suitable for penicillin treatment.
8. Bone and joint infections: Bone and joint infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus (penicillinase producing bacteria and non penicillinase producing bacteria).
This product can also be used to prevent the growth of sensitive pathogenic bacteria before or during surgery, reducing infections caused by contamination during and after surgery. Prevention of infection in abdominal, pelvic, and orthopedic surgeries, heart, lung, esophageal, and vascular surgeries, and total joint replacement surgeries.
