Product Description

Ceftriaxone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium for Injection

This product is a combination of ceftriaxone sodium and sulbactam sodium. The former belongs to the third generation cephalosporins. It has moderate antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria, strong antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria and good effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The latter is an irreversible competitive β? Lactamase inhibitor, which has strong irreversible inhibitory effect on β? Lactamases produced by Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria (except Pseudomonas aeruginosa). The combination of the two showed synergistic effect, wider antibacterial spectrum and stronger bactericidal power. The main sensitive bacteria are: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus, Neisseria, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Serratia, various types of Proteus, Citrobacter, typhoid bacillus, dysentery bacillus, digestive coccus, Streptococcus digest, Clostridium, etc. Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter are also sensitive to this product. Staphylococcus aureus, Haemophilus influenzae resistant to ampicillin, Gram-negative bacteria resistant to the first generation cephalosporins and gentamicin were all sensitive to this product.
